90 Degree Lead V-Max Plunger Family Now Available! |
| Features: |
| › 4 double-positive cutting edges per insert. |
| › Use standard inserts like those in the 0 degree lead family (6K6V, 6K5V, 4W2A, and 56K6V). |
| › Any edges unused in the face mills can be used in the plungers (R.060" or larger corner recommended). |
| › All plungers except for the 2" version have odd number of pockets to prevent inserts from being pinched if used for boring instead of partial-engagement plunging. |
| › Positive rake face of the V-Max insert provides for efficient chip evacuation. |
| › These plungers prefer a relatively heavy chip thickness. |
